This massive metropolis and vibrant Capital City of 25 million people is well worth a visit, especially because of its wonderful Museum of Anthropology (see below) and the wonderful nearby Ancient City of Teotihuacán with its Pyramids to rival Giza. You do need to be aware that it can be dangerous, but perfectly safe if you are sensible and follow precautions to avoid putting yourself at risk.
